  They have 'food' giveaways once a month (only 1 box per family but their 'parishioners' (all 15 of them) and friends get 2, 3, 4 boxes)..last month...nothing but Christmas crap...all the paper, cards, plates you could ever want....food..heh? A neighbor said they got 1 potato ....don't get me started...on 'normal' days,either the 3rd or 4th Thursday of the month, maybe...you have to call to find out which days they do so or see their sign up...I don't go to 'Cross, haha City' often enough to see that sign. So i call...352-542-....get this, last 4 #'s...2666 666 the mark of the beast....and the woman who answers....when i asked if I'd gotten hold of the 'church' she said no...so they have no 'church' number...and she's really nasty to you...ask, 'is there a food giveaway...answer is either "I don't know, or no", and in March they gave away Xmas crap ....oh wait, they did give you 1 potato. Church? lolololol no...tax exemption, yes. A couple of weeks ago, someone gave food away there. Not affiliated w/the "church". Again, Xmas crap and tons of cabbages and a few canned goods but hey, I shouldn't complain about that... There were at least 100 people there running up and grabbing everything. I was there at 11am, food/crap was available but they were 'waiting on trucks'...at least 50-75 ppl up there grabbing up what was already put out,(NOTE: STAY 6 FEET AWAY FROM OTHERS DURING THIS COVID 19 CRISIS) not in line like me and others so by the time I got up there at 1PM there was little left. The 'church' wasn't open, and I had to ...to say it nicely, go to the bathroom and I ended up doing so hidden behind my car door...why? because the 'church' wasn't open. Come to find out, there was supposedly a truck w/meat that came the day before but ummmmmm how did anyone find out about that? Certainly not I...again....the 'friends'and 'parishioners' who were called. Not a friend? Sorry about my and others' luck.
  So how can anybody in this shithole county (Dixie omgs) know when food is available? Welp, heh, it's up to chance to find out. And will you get a box of anything but rotten food?...Again it's up to chance and if you want to get a box for an elderly neighbor who can't make it up there? Sorry about your (and their) luck OH BUT THE 16 PARISHIONERS AND THEIR FRIENDS CAN GET HOWEVER MANY THEY WANT!!! One last remark....50% of the people who go there to get food? THEY HAVE FANCY EXPENSIVE VEHICLES. YES I WOULD NOT LIE ABOUT THAT!! Fancy FANCY cars/suv's/trucks omgs the Trucks....I have a broken down 1997 vehicle ....so...YOU tell ME...."A "CHRISTIAN' CHURCH? nope nope nope nope...exempt? YEP...I'll admit, I'm spiritual but not
  "religious"... BUT BY THEIR GOD I DO AS JESUS WOULD DO MORE THAN THESE FAKES DO!!! (yes I do believe Jesus was real, but possibly supernatural which makes sense, no?). I wonder what that old "pastor" and his VERY young wife would do if I showed up on their 'church's' doorstep ...dying...bleeding...heh...#1...tell me 'THE LORD WILL SAVE YOU' and #2, maybe, MAYBE, give me a band aid...IF they were even there.
  So, that's my review...believe it or not, doesn't matter until you experience it yourself. Welcome to Dixie County, FL. Welcome to the "Bible Belt"

  So many people are blessed in Cross City by them supplying food when there is no extra money to buy this needed source to keep the body going. I cannot thank them enough as I am one of those people.God Bless you for your consideration of others.
